New Divisions Added To The 2023 K1 Speed Canadian Championship

The road to the Canadian Championship is expanding! K1 Speed Canada is thrilled to announce that we are creating two new divisions for the 2023 K1 Speed Canadian Championships. For the first time ever, Teens and Juniors will have their own opportunity to qualify and compete for the K1 Speed Canadian Championship!

Along with adding two new divisions, Canada will now have more representatives for the annual K1 Speed World Championships! Starting this year, the TOP 3 in the championship tournament will qualify to represent Canada at the World Championships.

Adult Division

The Adult division is for racers 18+ years old. The top 16 racers with over 4000+ K1RS points in the calendar year will qualify for the Canadian Championship tournament. The top 3 finishers will receive prizes of $3000, $1500, and $500, respectively. The top 3 finishers will also qualify to represent Canada in the K1 Speed World Championships.

Teen Division

The Teen division is for racers ages 13-17 who race in adult karts. The top 8 racers with over 4000+ K1RS points in the calendar year will qualify for the Canadian Championship tournament. The top 3 finishers will receive prizes of $1000, $500, and $250, respectively. The top 3 finishers will also qualify to represent Canada in the K1 Speed World Championships.

Junior Division

The Junior division is for racers ages 8-12 who race in the junior karts. The top 8 racers with over 2500+ K1RS points in the calendar year will qualify for the Canadian Championship tournament. The top 3 finishers will receive prizes of $1000, $500, and $250, respectively. The top 3 finishers will also qualify to represent Canada in the K1 Speed World Championships.

The K1 Speed Canadian Championship is not only a night of competition and fun, but it is a celebration of our top racers and all that they have achieved in the past year. We look forward to hosting many more incredible racers, and can’t wait to see who claims the crown of 2023 K1 Speed Canadian Champion. Qualification continues from now until December 31st, 2023.
