Chase or Pace is our newest team-based event, debuting at K1 Speed in Toronto. Designed for drivers who love both speed and strategy, this format puts teams of two racers head-to-head as they battle for points, podiums, and all the glory that comes with out-smarting the competition.

Here’s how it works: 10 teams of two hit the track, starting with two qualifier races where every driver gets a run to set the stage. From there, the strategy kicks in. Each team decides who takes on pace, starting from a stronger position, and who goes full chase, launching from the back with one job: hunt down the field. Points stack up based on finishing positions, and the teams that balance teamwork, timing, and clean passes rise to the top.

After several high-intensity races, it all comes down to the final. The winning team is the one that delivers when it matters most, getting both drivers across the finish line first. And yes, the celebration is just as bold as the racing. At the podium, champions will be awarded K1 Speed chain necklaces, made to wear loud and proud.
