What to Expect: A Four-Day Racing Experience

Our camp is carefully structured to help young drivers develop their skills throughout the week before putting everything they've learned into action during an exciting championship race day.

Days 1–3: Learn from Ryan Dupont

The first three days focus on driver development through instructor-led coaching with professional racing instructor Ryan Dupont. With years of experience helping drivers improve their technique and performance, Ryan provides campers with expert guidance in a fun, encouraging environment. Campers will spend two hours each morning before K1 Speed opens to the public, receiving personalized instruction both on and off the track. Throughout these sessions, drivers will work on the core fundamentals of competitive racing, including:

Racing Line & Technique: Learn how to navigate each corner using the fastest and most efficient racing line.

Consistency & Control: Develop smooth braking, steering, and throttle control to produce faster and more consistent lap times.

Speed & Confidence: Build the confidence needed to push harder while maintaining complete control of the kart. By the end of the third day, campers will have gained the knowledge and experience needed to race with greater speed, precision, and confidence.

Day 4: Camp Championship Race Day

The final day is where all of the hard work pays off. Day 4 is a full day of organized racing, giving campers the opportunity to experience a real race weekend from start to finish. Drivers will compete through a structured championship format consisting of:

2 Practice Races

2 Qualifying Sessions

1 Semi-Final Race

1 Championship Final

Each race builds toward the championship, allowing campers to apply everything they've learned throughout the week while experiencing the excitement, strategy, and pressure of competitive racing. It's the perfect way to finish camp and crown the Summer Speed Camp Champion. Then we finish it off with Pizza and drinks!

While improving lap times is an important part of the experience, Summer Speed Camp is about much more than racing. Campers will build confidence, develop teamwork and sportsmanship, meet fellow young racing enthusiasts, and create lasting memories both on and off the track. The supportive atmosphere encourages drivers of all skill levels to challenge themselves, celebrate their progress, and have an incredible time doing it.

Whether they're chasing their first fast lap or standing on the podium after the championship final, every camper leaves with new skills and unforgettable experiences.
